He gave her a grin. "Really?"
"Of course!'
"Good! Good. I might leave you here, then, and get some stuff ready? Would you be okay with that?
She nodded. "Yeah. I'll manage."
He grinned, standing up. "Great. I'll meet you on the main deck in a while. See you, Ms. Rohesia."
"Au revoir, Jack."
He laughed slightly, slipping his hands into his pockets and heading for the door.
She turned back to cutting fruits, her eyes warm.

Jack waited patiently on the deck, leaning against the railing.
Avice approached, her hands folded nervously.
He glanced up and gave her a warm smile. "Hey, Ms. Rohesia. How was cooking?"
She shrugged. "Boring. You can call me Avice, you know."
He considered her, his brow furrowed. "Avice. Huh. Could I call you Rohesia as well?"
"It's up to you, I suppose."
"If you don't like it, I don't have to do it."
"I'm not very used to it," she replied. "It's fine, though."
"Well, we'll have a nickname for you eventually, Avice. Mark my words."
"Hm. Sure you will. You're creative."
