There came a knock on the door.
She looked up, going to the door and opening it.
Jack stood there, holding a glass of water and some painkillers. “Good morning.”
She blinked. "Good morning."
He offered the painkillers to her. “Headache?”
She looked down at them, becoming hesitant. "What are those?"
“Painkillers. For the hangover?”
She looked around a bit nervously before taking them. "Thank you."
He frowned, cocking his head. “You feeling okay?”
"I'm okay," she said quietly before looking up at him. "Did you take me back here?"
He nodded slowly before giving her a small smile. “You were weird.”
"Weird? Well that's rude."
“You kissed my hand and told me I have a nice face.”
She laughed. "I did? I sound great."
“It was strange, for sure.”
She tapped his shoulder. "Well, I apologize for what I did and said."
“Mm. Good to hear. You ready for today?”
She nodded. "I think I am."
“Good. Today, we’re working with cannons.”
"Cannons? Like, real cannons?"
