“Oh. Good. We’re settled then.”
"Yup."
“I don’t need to see you and you don’t need to see me.”
"Because I totally don't view you as a friend."
“Right. As you said last night, I don’t know you.”
"Well.. In a sense."
“In a sense? What does that mean?”
"Well, I barely know you, right? I don't even know your favorite color!"
“You’re right. You don’t. I guess I’ll leave you to it, then.”
She tilted her head. "You will visit though, right?"
He glanced at her with a smile. “If you want me to.”
"Of course. By the way.. What is your favorite color?"
"Depends on the day. I like blues and greens right now."
"Blues and greens. Like the ocean."
He gave her a small smile, revealing straight, white teeth. "Yeah. Exactly."
She watched him for a moment before blinking. "Right.. Cool."
He gestured towards steps leading down to the hold. "Ladies first."
"Why thank you, kind gentleman.'
He rolled her eyes, following her.
She ducked below a board, going to the cannons.
