"So you only like that I'm alive because I saved you."
“I also like that you’re alive because I enjoy your company.”
"That too, I guess."
“You’re good to me.”
She blinked. "I am?"
“Yes.”
"I didn't know that."
“You’re sweet.”
"..Sweet?"
“Yeah. Compared to a pirate, yeah.”
"Well then.. So are you."
He rolled his eyes. “You haven’t met any pirates besides me.”
"Then you're a sweet person. I've met a lot of people."
He rolled his eyes, but there may have been a small flush on his cheeks. “I don’t like compliments.”
She cocked her head. "You don't? But I like giving compliments? Can't I?"
He frowned, shaking his head. “I’d rather you not.”
Her smile faded slightly. "Alright.."
He sighed before sheathing his sword. “Thank you, though.”
She nodded wordlessly, turning slightly. "I'm gonna go finish working with the cannons."
