“I don’t know. It seems like a big deal that you’re hanging out with ‘Just Dante’.”
She rolled her eyes. "We're together. Is that better?"
He laughed out loud, pu Ching her shoulder. “Rohesia, you dog!”
She rubbed her shoulder. "..Thanks?"
He shook his head. “I’d give you a noogie if I felt it was appropriate.”
She shook her head, a grin on her face. "You act like a schoolboy sometimes."
“As your residential best friend, I feel that it is my duty.”
She laughed, shaking her head. "You're ridiculous.'
“Well, congratulations.”
"Thanks, Curnow. So what you brings you down here?"
“I just was bored, but you’re busy.”
"I'm sure we can hang out later?"
“It’s fine. Go hang out with your boyfriend.”
She smiled slightly. "I'll see you later."
“See you,” he said, heading for the door.
She went back to her original place, a small smile crossing her face.
Jack’s smile fell as he went up the stair, but he said nothing.
She didn't seem to notice, but she glanced at his back as he left.
