“Well, I think you’re magic.”

 

"Cheese," he said, glancing at the bag. "Pie. Vegetables. You know, the usual."

 

He came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, kissing her cheek.

 

He grinned, kissing her jaw.

"I love you too."

 

His hands rested on her back and he kissed the tip of her nose.

 

"It's always so good to see you."

 

He pulled her close, exhaling slightly.

 

He rubbed her back slowly.

"How was your day?"

 

"It was alright. There was a scuffle at the market," he said, stretching. He was quiet for a moment.

"Av, what would you think about going to school?"
