“I’m dying as we speak.
She shook her head. "Don't die. For my birthday wish, don't die."
“Fine,” he relented. “Tomorrow, then.”
"Not tomorrow either," she said, looking up at him
“Some other time.”
"Never," she replied simply. "I love you."
He glanced down at her, his brow raised. “I love you too.”
She reached up, kissing his cheek.
He flushed slightly, continuing to row.
She pulled Aubrey and Sawyer close, her expression warm.
The island got closer and closer and Aubrey looked up at it. “Are there bears?”
Avice chuckled. "Probably not."
Aubrey pouted slightly. “I wanted to see a bear.”
"Maybe another time, Bre."
“I would name her Winnie.”
"Winnie?"
“Yeah. My bear.”
She grinned. "Well, you never know."
She looked hopeful, looking out towards the island again.
Avice watched as well, her head cocked.
