He was quiet before shifting. “Ready to go?”
She hesitated before nodding. "Yeah."
He sighed for a moment. “I’ll go with you.”
She cocked her head. "You are?"
"Yep. I'll have to figure it out with the babies, but I will."
"You don't have to.."
"Of course I do. I want to be with my wife on her birthday."
She smiled at him embarrassedly. "You're amazing."
"I love you. That's all."
"I love you too."
"So, I have to figure out how to strap babies to my chest."
"Are.. Are you sure? You don't have to.."
"I'm good. I'll figure it out."
She nodded slowly. "Okay.."
"C'mon. Let's go."
She stood, looking nervous.
He folded up the blanket and picked up the babies. "Ready?"
She nodded. "Yeah."
They set off deeper into the island jungle. "It's going to be fun. Are you excited?"
"Yeah."
