"Thank you. I think so too."
She kissed his cheek. "You're lovely."
He flushed, looking down at her. "No, I'm not. I'm just yours."
"Lovely."
"That's even better than being lovely."
She flushed. "You think?"
"Yes. I'm sure."
"I'm yours too, you know."
"I know. It makes me happy."
She kissed the back of his hand, a small grin.
He pulled her close, draping his arm over her shoulder.
She rested her head against him.
"Happy birthday," he said quietly.
She put an arm around him. "Thank you."
"You're welcome," he said, kissing her forehead.
She relaxed, sighing. "I'm glad I still get to spend time with you when we get home."
He kissed the spot between her eyebrows. "We have eternity."
"That's perfect."
"I mean, not eternity. I'll die soon enough."
"Don't say that.."
