"I want it to be never."
"Yes, well..." He sighed. "We don't have to talk about it."
She nodded. "Good. Do you want to head home soon? I can make us a nice dinner."
He blinked at her, his brow furrowed. "We can head home, but I'm making dinner. It's your birthday."
"But you've been doing everything."
"It's your birthday. It's your day to relax."
"You're so sweet."
"It's what anyone would do."
"I'm glad you're my husband."
He grinned down at her. "I'm glad you're my wife."
She wrapped her arms around him.
He kissed her forehead, rubbing her back. “You okay?”
"Of course. Im great."
“You’re perfect?”
"Everything feels perfect."
"Good. Good."
She nodded, her hand resting on the back of his neck.
He kissed the tip of her nose. “Ready to go?”
She nodded. "Let's find Aubrey."
