He tilted his head slightly and pulled her closer.
She kissed under his earlobe, along his jaw.
His flush was immediate and he cleared his throat.
She paused, tilting her head at him.
He kissed the tip of her nose. "You're silly."
"Silly?"
"Mm. Silly."
She pursed her lips. "I am not. "
"Why else would my heart be beating so fast?"
"Because you like me?"
"No. Not possible."
"I didn't think so," she teased.
“I’m clearly just scared of your silliness.”
She rolled her eyes, leaning back.
He studied her before kissing the tip of her nose. “Don’t be cross.”
"I'm not cross with you, babe."
“You sure?”
She nodded, leaning forward and giving him a kiss.
He gave her a smile, his hand on her back.
She pulled away after a moment, her gaze adoring.
