She squinted. "Both."
“Alright. Let’s go.”
She led him to the bedroom, her eyes warm.
He sat on the edge of the bed, looking up at her expectantly.
She slipped onto his lap, kissing his jawline gently.
He flushed immediately, his hands resting on her hips. “What are you doing...?”
She pursed her lips. "Something.."
He cleared his throat, a pink tinge to his cheeks.
She pulled away, tilting her head. "We don't have to.."
"No, no," he interjected. "I want to."
She nodded slowly, raising a hand to rest on his jaw.
He kissed her deeply, lying back on the bed.
She relaxed, her hand on the collar of his shirt.

Jack was asleep the next morning, his arm around her.
Avice's face was buried in his chest, and she slept soundly.
His arms were draped over her shoulders and he murmured, burying his nose in her hair.
She shifted, her eyes fluttering.
