He put his free arm around them, his brow furrowing. “Yeah, I just...”
She looked up at him, her eyes bright. "You're home, Jack."
He paused before grinning at her. “I’m home.”
She relaxed. "Want to head inside?"
"Please. I haven't seen it in six months."
She grinned, taking his hand and leading him in.
He followed her, looking around almost nervously.
She steppes on the porch, opening the door for him.
He kissed her cheek before going inside.
She followed, her eyes bright."
He looked around slowly at the main hall, his eyes wide. "Wow. It feels weird."
"Is it nice, though?"
"It's home. I've been thinking about this place for months."
She grinned, watching him lovingly.
He smiled before wrapping an arm around her shoulder. "And I've been thinking about you for months."
She flushed. "I was thinking about you too.. We did write."
“It wasn’t enough.”
She rested her head against him. "I love you."
He kissed the top of her head. “I love you too.”
She relaxed, resting against him.
