They approached the cake counter and Jack looked at Avice.
She approached. "The ice cream cake, please."
"Of course," the man at the counter said, sliding it across the counter.
She set the money down before taking it. "Thank you."
Jack kissed her cheek before they headed out.
She sighed. "We completed the mission."
“Well done.”
"I couldn't have finished it without you."
“And my pregnancy.”
"Right. That too."
“We’re a good team.”
She kissed his cheek. "We are."
"The best."
She chuckled, starting off. "Right."
