"Fantastic, huh?" he asked, giving her a quick peck on the lips. "Well, I think you're pretty wonderful yourself."
"I feel the same about you," she told him, putting her arms over his shoulders. "I don't think you understand, though."
He laughed, his forehead leaning against hers. "I'm certainly not perfect, Av," he said, kissing the tip of her nose. "To be honest, I..." He hesitated before giving her a small smile. "I still can't really come to terms with the fact that you want me. I spent those last two years thinking that it just wouldn't happen. So the fact that you're here..." He shook his head. "It's a little strange for me to come to terms with."
He kissed her, smiling against her lips. When he pulled away, he paused and then frowned. "Ugh. I have to go pack for Maydye," he said. "Do you want to come?"
"It's mostly just inventory," he said, sighing as he pulled away from her. "We're selling some stuff while we're there, and I'm in charge of that."
