She grinned, coming to him for a kiss. "I did too."
He obliged and Aubrey groaned. "Ew."
"You'll be like us one day," she teased.
"Uh uh. You guys have cooties."
"No way. We're clean."
"Cooooooties!"
"Hmph. Rude."
She stuck her tongue out at her.
She did the same back, her expression playful.
Aubrey couldn't help it, laughing out loud.
She grinned. "Got you."
She blew another raspberry.
She gasped. "Wow. That's rude."
She laughed, wrapping her arms around Jack's neck.
She grinned, sitting down.
He slid a pancake onto her plate and gave her butter and syrup.
She looked up. "Thank you."
He kissed the top of her head. “Of course.”
She smiled gently, picking up fork.
