He glanced over his shoulder at her, giving her a smirk with one raised brow before pouring the batter in the pan, his calloused fingers darting away from the hot surface as it sizzled. "Aubrey, I have juice, milk, or water. Which one would you like?" Aubrey looked over at her father, her brows furrowed thoughtfully. "Do we have cocoa?" He pursed his lips, opening the cupboard and pulling out a jar of shaved chocolate. "I think we could make that work. Av, do you want cocoa?"
He poured milk into a saucepan, turning and leaning against the counter, regarding his family with a small smile as he folded his arms. "What about Sawyer? Does he want cocoa?"
Jack chuckled, stirring the chocolate into the cream with a whisk. The sweet smell of cocoa filled the room as he spoke. "You speak 'baby' now?"
