"Excellent," he said. "For the sake of convenience, perhaps we should hang out together? Simply for convenience, you understand."
"Hmm," she tapped her chin, acting as if she were considering. "I suppose. But only for the convenience."
"I suppose we should probably hold hands sometimes, as well," he said, grinning down at her. "I wouldn't want you getting lost."
"Hm. Well, I don't want you to get hurt," he said slowly. "So maybe I should kiss you sometimes? You know, preemptive CPR?"
His hands rested on her back, and he kissed her lightly. "I feel absolutely no affection towards you."
"I don't feel anything for you either," she stated teasingly, her hand resting on the side of his face.
