He grinned down at her. "Are they over already?"
"Unfortunately," she said. "Now you have to work."
He groaned. "I could stay."
"Nope. You said so yourself. Go do serious things."
He sighed and pulled away. "Fine."
She returned to sitting down, her hands folded thoughtfully.
He continued working, although he would pause occasionally to smile at her.
She rested her head on her hand, excited for the day.
He opened one crate full of spices and sneezed.
She stifled a quick chuckle. "Bless you."
He sniffed and frowned at her. "Thank you."
She tilted her head, watching him thoughtfully before looking back at the ground.
He noticed and cocked his head. "Everything okay?"
She glanced at him, a small smile appearing on her face. "Yeah, of course. Just thinking."
"I'm sorry this is kind of boring," he said with a frown. "I should be done soon."
"No, it's quite alright. I've had fun, for counting up spices and stuff."
He grinned at her. "This is fun for you?"
"Parts of it," she corrected. "You make it enjoyable."
He grinned at her. "I should have had you doing this with me a long time ago."
"You should've told me you liked me a long time ago," she teased.
