He blinked. "You can do that?" She gave him a warm smile. "Of course," she sang, her voice silky. She offered him a hand and he hesitated before taking it, already under her spell. Her grin widened, and her teeth grew sharp. A low hiss came from her chest and she lunged backwards, pulling him into the water.
It was black under the waves, but she would be able to barely make out Jack, fighting furiously against the siren, who was coiling around him. She hit his side, and bubbles escaped his lips as he gasped, her nails scratching against his already sore ribs.
She swam towards them, furiously going to grab the sirens arm and slash at the sirens gills, careful not to hit Jack.
A small cut formed on her cheek, and this only seemed to make her more angry, bringing Avice to drive her attacks more violent.
The siren's tail wrapped around Jack's neck and she hissed. "Back up! I'll break his neck! I'll do it!"
Jack's eyes met hers and he hesitated before he reached up, his finger marking a 'x' on the gills of the siren on her tail, right in front of his neck.
