She seemed distracted. "Yup."
He frowned. "And that means... no clothes?"
She paused, unsure how to respond. "Huh.."
Realization struck him suddenly and he straightened up, flushing. "OH."
She said nothing, her brow furrowing.
He cleared his throat. "I'm... let's sleep, okay?"
"Yup. That sounds great," she said, obviously trying to avoid anymore embarrassment.
He nodded, heading to the couch.
She went to the bed quietly.
He stretched out on the couch. "Good night, Avice."
She felt lonely, frowning slightly as she turned out the light. "Goodnight."
He turned to face the cushions, falling asleep quickly.
She got up once he slept, picking up a bit before returning to bed self consciously, going to sleep.

Jack was fast asleep the next morning, stretched out on the couch.
Avice was asleep as well, her arms around the pillows and her brow furrowed.
He shifted, pulling the sheet up to his chin.
Avice murmured in her sleep, not waking.
He sat up slowly, yawning tiredly.
