His hands were something constant about him. She would watch his long fingers reach out to pull a book from the shelf, his brow furrowed and he leafed through it.
He frowned, but brightened when he saw her. "I don't know. Nothing's sparking my interest in this aisle."
She pursed her lips, looking around before perking up. She took out a book and tilted her head. "This one is about the different places and interesting facts and myths that come with it."
"Well I know you like libraries," she said quietly, seeming somewhat nervous. "And you like research."
He laughed, looking down at her kindly. It would be an expression very similar to when he was first giving her a tour on the ship. Unfamiliar, but gentle. “Really? Gosh, Avice. Thank you.”
