"Wait, stay there. I have a better idea."
He blinked curiously before leaning back.
She went to get something, her expression bright.
He watched her from his place, his blue eyes alert and attentive.
She grabbed multiple blankets before coming back and spreading them across the floor.
"What are you up to?"
"..Big floor bed."
He laughed out loud. "My God, you're cute."
She flushed, looking up. "What?"
"Nothing. I just love you so much."
She went to him, leaning down to kiss his nose. "I love you too."
He looked up at her before sitting up. "Should I pull the mattress to the floor?"
She paused, a grin crossing her face. "Yeah!"
He nodded, standing up.
She moved the blankets aside.
He pushed the mattress onto the floor, looking at her. "Now what?"
She spread out all the blankets again before tossing down the pillows. "Ta dah!"
"You're a damn genius."
She gave him a kiss. "Why, thank you. You're a good helper."
"I moved a mattress."
