She rolled her eyes, giving him a kiss.
He kissed her back, his hand coming up to rest on her jaw.
She grinned slightly. "That's one way to do it."
"You got me."
"I love you."
He laughed lightly, brushing her hair back. "I love you too."
She watched him adoringly, her eyes loving.
He laughed slightly. "What?"
She grinned. "You're so good."
"Oh, jeez, Avice."
"I love you very much."
He laughed slightly shaking his head. "I love you too."
She kissed the corner of his mouth, relaxing.
He grinned before slipping his arms around her waist, burying his face in her neck.
She ran a hand through his hair, shutting her eyes.
He hummed slightly under his breath, sounding drowsy.
She kissed the top of his head, letting him drift off.
He did that.
She stayed awake, enjoying the languidity and warmth.
He was fast asleep next to her, stretching out.
