He flushed even deeper, looking at her. "You're sweet..."
She grinned before going back to her plate at the sink.
He joined her, carrying the iron.
She finished washing her plate before drying it, stepping aside to give him room.
He set the waffle iron in the sink and began to clean it.
She rested her head on his shoulder.
He kissed the top of her head. "Good waffles?"
"The best."
"Good. Better than pancakes?"
"Dare I say yes?"
"That right there is the hottest thing you have ever said to me."
She burst out in laughter. "Oh, I'm sure."
"Mm. So attractive."
"I love your waffles."
He took a deep breath, looking over at her. "Avice, I swear to God."
She smirked. "They're the best."
He looked over a her for a moment, his face impossible to read.
She raised her eyebrows at him.
He moved towards her quickly, wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her deeply.
