"What do you mean?"
He shrugged slightly. "She was very complimentary, but... I don't know."
She tilted her head curiously. "I see.. Would you like to come inside? You don't have to stay long."
He glanced over his shoulder for a moment. "I wouldn't want to impose."
"Impose? I invited you. Besides, I did say I would give Mack a carrot."
"That you did..."
She shrugged. "It's optional."
"Sure, Ms. Rohesia. I'd love to."
She grinned before tying Lo up at her stand. "Wonderful."
Mack joined her, snuffling quietly.
Avice started towards the door.
Tuck followed, glancing over his shoulder.
The inside of her house was similar to the outside, pleasant and warm, paintings hung on the wall.
He looked around, closing the door behind him. "I like your house," he said decisively.
She looked back at him, going to her kitchen and grabbing a few carrots. "You do? I'm glad."
"Who is this artist?" he asked, inspecting the paintings. "I'm not familiar with their work."
"Oh. I painted those."
His face lit up. 'You did?"
She went over to him, carrots in hand. "Yeah. Do you like it?"
"Avice, you're so talented. Why don't you sell these?"
