A beautiful young woman stood in the doorframe. She had golden blonde hair and rosy cheeks, although her expression was slightly cold. "Are you Avice Rohesia?"
"My name is Alexandria Colter. I am engaged to Tuck Sparks and he tells me that you are in charge of the floral unit for our wedding?"
She considered her for a moment, her grey eyes severe and cold. "You made the first ones he gave me, yes? They were so beautiful," she said, although the words didn't meet her gaze.
Avice gave her a warm grin. "I'm glad you liked them! I hope I can make these next ones just as good."
A slight smile crossed her lips, but it didn't seem kind. "Yes, well... be a dear and write this down for me, will you?" She began to walk through the flowers, calling out names as she shrugged off her fur cloak. "Orange Madonna Lily... White Lily of the Incas... White Wolfsbane... Yellow Carnations..."
Avice paused before hesitating, clearing her throat. "I think he would do best as a sunflower.. And maybe purple lavender to make the colors stand out?"
She paused, considering her words for a moment. "Purple and yellow are so garish, though," she said, shaking her head. "Besides, sunflowers are a commoner's flower."
She eyed the shop skeptically. "We'll probably be stopping by here to consult the flowers in terms of color."
