"Yeah," she muttered. "They can be really overbearing and I don't want to have to deal with playing that off."
She looked up at him with a raised eyebrow. "What? No way. You're like.. you're like a trophy boyfriend."
"Nope," she replied easily. "Appearance isn't all that it takes to be a trophy boyfriend. You're smart and kind and funny.."
"I'm telling the truth!" she said as they approached a decently sized house that looked as cozy the her own. This one was green and looked like it had gone through years of wear, but was still rather nice and homely, rickety steps and flower pots out front. "Here it is."
