A tall man opened the door. He had brown hair and a trimmed beard. It would be hard to tell, but his eyes may look similar to Avice's. "..Av? What are you doing back home?" "It's a rather long story.."
Tuck was too far away to hear, his hands in his pockets as he regarded the town, his back to the two of them.
The man looked up, raising a curious eyebrow. "Who's your friend?" "Dad.." It was too late, he stepped out intimidatingly. "Hey! Who do you think you are loitering around with my daughter?"
He turned to look, his bright eyes thoughtful. A small smile crept into his lips. “Mr. Rohesia, I was bringing her to see you, of course!”
Avice looked embarrassed and her father dropped the act, obviously trying to get a reaction that didn't show. "Ah. Looks like it didn't work. Come up here so I can meet you formally."
Avice pursed her lips before her father spoke again, beckoning them inside. "Ah, well. Come in, come in. Charlotte is in the kitchen."
She took his, leading him inside. It looked relatively clean, but there were books and maps set neatly to the side. "This is our abode," he said warmly. "We weren't quite expecting guests, but luckily we have two spare bedrooms set up."
