"Alright. 3...2...1.." He began to wrap the bandages around her as gently as possible, the pressure bringing small stabs of pain across her body.
"I know, baby," he murmured, kissing her forehead. "I know." He finished bandaging her up, and then he looked down at her, "Any better?"
"That's what you need," he said, standing up. "Stay here." Hepaused and then grinned. "Well, I guess you can't really go anywhere anyway."
She snuggled, pretending as if she were about to cry. "How could you be so mean at a time like this?'
"I just don't understand," she continued, covering her eyes with her hands. "How could you make fun of me?"
