He nodded before exaggerating a stumble, falling backwards into the water.
She laughed slightly, looking over the edge.
He bobbed up from under the water, looking up at her. "You pushed me!"
Her grin widened. "Yeah!"
"That was so well-planned and subtle!"
Her head retreated back, and after a moment he would see her jump off as well.
He watched her fall, dipping below the surface.
She submerged, holding her breath
He was waiting for her.
She went for a playful attack from underwater.
Bubbles escaped his lips and he rose to the surface.
She did the same, brushing her hair back with a grin.
"I can't believe you did that."
"I know, right?"
"That's so mean."
"I'm sorry."
"No, you're not. You'd do it again."
"Yes, I would."
“I’m really upset.”
"I can tell."
