He kissed her forehead before opening the door and closing it behind them.

Avice relaxed against him, her head on his shoulder as she slept.
He was still awake, brushing his fingers through her hair slowly as he looked up at the ceiling.
She woke slowly, her eyes fluttering. "Tuck..?"
He looked down at her thoughtfully. "Hey, Av."
She kissed his cheek gently. "You okay?"
"Mm. Are you?"
She nodded, reaching up to run her fingers through his hair.
He caught her hand and kissed her palm, holding it gently between his fingers.
She gave him a small smile, watching him adoringly. "I love you."
He laughed slightly, intertwining his fingers with hers. "I love you too."
She relaxed, kissing his jaw again. "You're really amazing, you know.."
He frowned, looking down at her. "What did I do?"
"You're just... you. And that's enough."
He blinked, looking down at her confusedly. "I don't think I understand."
"You don't have to be doing anything for me to think you're amazing."
He frowned, clearly reflecting on this. "Huh."
She looked uncertain. "Is that okay?"
