Pirates! (One-on-One)

"I'm okay," he assured her. "Please don't worry."

 

"Thank you," he said. "I will try to do the same."

 

He kissed the back of her hand before speaking.

"So, I'm going to have to go talk to him as soon as we dock in Edolier," he said quietly. He paused and then shifted to look at her. "Will... would you come with me?"

 

"You're sure?" he asked. "You don't have to."

 

"Okay," he said, kissing the top of her head. "Thank you. Thank you for always being there."

 

He sighed, and kissed the tip of her nose.

"I'm sorry we're stuck in here."

 

"It shouldn't be too much longer," he promised. "The stitches are healing, I think."

 

"Well, we should try to get you walking a couple more times today. I think if we can do that, then you should be doing better tomorrow."

 

"No. I don't think so. We're just in here so we're close to medical supplies if you need to be."

 

"Don't thank me," he said with a smile. "I'm not the one healing you."
