He kissed her, his hand resting on her cheek. "I adore you too, Av," he murmured. "More than anything else."
He rested his forehead against her and closed his eyes. "Just for a second," he mumbled, tiredly kissing the tip of her nose.
His breathing slowed, and he sighed, pulling her closer to him. "It's so weird to sleep next to you, you know," he said quietly.
"Well," he said thoughtfully. "I don't know. My mother used to say that a person is at their most vulnerable when they're sleeping, so we need to be gentle with them. It's just strange, I suppose."
