"Eh. Sleep is overrated."
"Not it's not, babe. Sleep is good."
"For mortals, perhaps," he replied, yawning. "I, however, do not need sleep."
She squinted at him. "You need sleep."
"I'm immortal! Gods don't need sleep."
She buried her head in his chest. "I do, though."
He sighed and kissed the top of her head. "Hm. I suppose I will, for you."
She smiled, kissing his collarbone. "Thank you."
He sighed at her touch, pulling her closer. "I love you, Av."
"I love you too," she said quietly. "Let's sleep."
"Okay," he said agreeably. "Goodnight."
She kissed his jaw carefully. "Goodnight.'
Jack sighed with contentment before closing his eyes, kissing the top of her head lightly.
She shut her eyes as well, her hands holding on gently to his shirt.

Jack stretched as he woke, inhaling deeply.
Avice remained asleep, only shifting slightly away as he moved.
