He frowned. "Don't push yourself too hard, babe," he said reassuringly. "If it doesn't work, it doesn't work."
He relaxed slightly and kissed the tip of her nose. "Okay, okay," he relented. "Just be careful, okay?"
He frowned and reached a hand to cup her face. "Is that why I have to be careful?" he teased. "Because you'll bite me?"
He gave her a small smile before leaning in to kiss her gently. "Love a girl who scares the hell out of me," he muttered.
He smiled and ran his fingers through her hair. "I love you too, Avice," he said quietly. "More than anything."
