"Hmm," she murmured. "Outskirts maybe?"
"A good mix between the two," he agreed. "Hm. Do we have any pets?"
"Two," she replied. "One cat and one dog. But only because you probably won't let me have 20 cats."
"Probably not," he agreed. "Although, I would be open to 20 dogs."
"Um.. No. That's too much noise and responsibility." She crossed her arms. "Two cats, one dog."
He squinted at her. "Two dogs, two cats. Final offer."
She sighed. "Okay! Fine. Two dogs, two cats. What kind of dog?"
"Chocolate lab," he said immediately. "Obviously. What kind of cat?"
She shrugged. "Y'know.. orange maybe?"
"Ooh, good choice," he said, nodding appreciatively. "What color is the house?"
She crossed her arms thoughtfully. "I dunno about that one. What do you think?"
He shrugged sheepishly. "I like earthy colors. You know, blues, greens. Either that or red."
"A blue house," she said. "With a garden."
He raised an eyebrow. "Can you garden?"
She shrugged. "Never tried."
"I'm sure you could. It seems like your kind of thing."
She grinned. "Does it?"
"Mm. Earthy. Homey."
She took his hand again. "What else about the house?"
"Hm..." he murmured. "We have a really large backyard."
