She laughed. "I like that. And there are wildflowers," she said, her eyes drifting. "And the sky is blue, but there are still perfect, white clouds."
She sighed with a wide smile. "The ocean is so clear," she said, "that you can see the fish. And it's quiet, too."
He grinned, squeezing her hand. He hesitated before asking his next question. "Is it just us? Us and our pets?"
He nodded, sensing it was wise to back off for now. "We'll see," he agreed reassuringly. "Don't panic."
