"I am extremely open to it," he said bitterly, frowning at her. "I think Urela proved that. I'm just not good."
"I had to pull you to dance with me," she said, tilting her head and leaning back. "Don't worry, I didn't judge you."
"Are you sure innocent is the right word then?" she asked thoughtfully, messing with a splinter in her hand. "And you know I just wanted to have some fun with you."
"I'm sorry," she said, her tone apologetic. "I really did think you would have fun. I won't do it again."
She stood, placing her hands on the railing. "Oh, good." Her tone seemed slightly out of it. "I'm glad.. most people get mad at me easily."
"You think so?" she asked, pursing her lips. "I mean, you're probably the smartest person I know, so I listen to you."
He flushed again lightly, but shook his head. "You're in a very complimentary mood today, Rohesia," he said, raising an eyebrow.
"I wasn't complimenting you," she stated bluntly, but her tone had a sort of kindness in it. "I'm just telling the facts."
He laughed, the sound coming deeply from his chest. "Oh, I'm sure," he said easily, stretching out his limbs. "And I'm sure that me having a nice face is just a fact too, hm?"
Her eyebrows furrowed, but a grin crept onto her face. "Yes, it is. That one was kind of meant as a compliment, too, but you don't have to take it," she said, putting her arms behind her back.
"Oh, no," he said, a goofy grin sneaking up his face. "I'm taking that compliment and running with it."
