She was quiet for a moment. "You know what? I like how I can tell that you love me. Not just with the words you say, but I can honestly tell that you love me."
He raised an eyebrow. "I'm glad you can see that too," he said quietly, pulling her closer. "I worry sometimes, actually. That you don't think I'm completely yours."
"You shouldn't worry, I believe you," she said softly. "And I love everything about you. Every little thing. You can list imperfections, but those are included.. I just... you're so perfect to me. You're so perfect. And I love you."
He blinked at her, evidently surprised, before pulling her close, burying his head in her neck. "Jesus, Avice. I... I don't know what I'd do without you."
One hand rubbed his back, the other brushing through his hair. "I feel the same way about you. You're so important.."
The words seemed to have a strange effect on him and he shook his head. "I'm really not, Av. I'm just a guy."
"No," she said, pulling away to take his face in her hands. "You're so important. You're.. You're the most important thing in my entire life."
He watched her for a moment, his eyes wide and his gaze unyielding, before he pulled her close to him and kissed her, his fingers brushing through her hair.
