Pirates! (One-on-One)

He gasped with mock horror.

“You wouldn’t!”

 

“Hmph. Well, you won’t get me to admit that I’m handsome, so have fun sleeping alone.”

 

“Fine,” he agreed, crossing his arms and sticking out his tongue.

 

“Hmph. Yeah, let’s.” He turned back to the bookshelf with a huff, returning to his studies.

 

He paused, looking down at her before sighing, grabbing his book and sitting behind her, pulling her into his lap.

"Sorry," he murmured in her ear.

 

He kissed her cheek before opening his book and beginning to read, his fingers brushing through her hair.

Jack sighed and stacked the last book, frowning.

"Well, this was pointless," he said with a groan.

 

“Nothing of use right now,” he said frustratedly, pursing his lips.

 

He sighed, evidently vexed.

“Hopefully. But it doesn’t feel like we’ll find it here.”
