Her eyes widened for a moment, and she bit her lip in consideration. The words sounded nice to her, but eventually she shook her head and grabbed his arm. "C'mon... let's go. Please?"
"Okay, okay," he agreed cheerfully. "Wow, that feels nice to say that. I love you. I loovvve you. Iloveyou."
She pulled him outside, and took in the fresh air. After a moment, she turned to him, her expression stern. "Have you already forgotten our fight?"
He frowned. "I don't like fighting with you," he muttered. "I don't like it. I would say I like it least of anything-" He raised his hands in the air to express the gravity of the situation. "-in the whole world."
She couldn't help but smile. "Jeez. Y'know what? I love you, too. I also hope you don't remember me saying that."
"You told me when you were drunk," he said matter-of-factly. "And I said the same thing you just said. It was nice."
"I'm sorry," she said, "but you confuse me. I was positive got you didn't like me like that, but now you're saying otherwise. I'm too simple to understand feelings."
"Let me make it clear," he began turning towards her. "I love you. Okay? I love you, I love you, I love you. You're my best friend, and my companion, and I miss you constantly when you're not there. Does that work?"
She blushed heavily, but turned away to keep it hidden. "It works, but... loving me isn't a good idea. I'm a bad influence. Don't you see? Supposedly you don't drink, but now you are, and it's probably because of me."
"It's because I miss you," he said, frowning. "If you and I weren't fighting, I wouldn't be drunk right now." He paused, and then smiled slowly. "I mean... I'm not drunk."
She patted his back, shaking her head. "You're a liar. And you shouldn't drink because you miss me. It makes me feel bad for going away."
He grinned at her, cocking his head. "Why, thank you, Rohesia!" he exclaimed affectionately, leaning down and kissing her cheek.
Her cheeks turned pink, but she raised an eyebrow as a fierceness sparked in her eyes. "You are very welcome," she said, then turned her head to kiss him, a mischievously smile on her face.
