She smiled softly, turning ever so slightly to look at his features, her gaze protective and loving. She took his hand carefully, sure not to wake him up before looking to the sky, her eyes set on finding shooting stars. When one caught her eye, she smiled, before shutting her own eyes with a sigh.
Jack woke with the sun, squinting as it came over the horizon. He sat up slightly, looking as the sky was painted with oranges and pinks and golds.
He glanced down at her, placing the blankets over her shoulder before standing up, stretching in the light of day.
