"Or just plain drunk."

 

"That's what they all say," he teased as they approached the bedroom.

 

"Alcoholics," he confided in a playful whisper.

 

"Ahem. Admitting it is the first step."

 

"You can say it as loud as you want, but I am not going to believe you."

 

He smirked, kissing her neck lightly.

"Are you mad at me?"

 

"I see," he said sadly as they entered the bed room. He dropped her on the bed and flopped next to her dramatically.

 

He glanced up at her with mournful eyes.

"Yes?"

 

He blinked, obviously surprised, before he kissed her back, his fingers running through her hair. His cheeks were slightly pink.

 

He cleared his throat.

“Ah... I love you too.”
