She pursed her lips thoughtfully before standing up and going to him, sliding into his lap and resting her head on his shoulder.
He paused, rubbing the back of her neck thoughtfully. "Hm. Fine," he relented. "But I may have to put you back on the bed when you leave."
She rested her head on his shoulder again, shutting her eyes as she listened to the quiet noises of the room, eventually falling asleep.
She sat up, running a hand through her hair. Getting out of bed, she fixed the blankets before going to do her work.
