She rolled her eyes, pulling away from him. "Jack? I'm sorry. I don't know who that is."
"Avice, baby," he protested, wrapping his arms around her. "You're breaking my heart."
She shook her head. "I don't know who you are."
He pulled away sadly, his eyes wide. "I see. I'm sorry, ma'am."
She paused before grinning, wrapping her arms around him. "Just kidding. I love you."
"No, no, no, I understand," he said, pulling away. "You don't have to lie for me."
"Noooo!" she whined. "Love me!"
"I do, Rohesia. But you don't even know my name."
"It's Jack Curnow," she said. "And you are the man that I love!"
He squinted at her. "That was an incredible guess."
She frowned. "Well, what's something only someone close to you would know?"
He pursed his lips. "There's a lot of things, I guess."
"Hm.. Ask me a question then. Only one I should know."
He smirked, tilting his head. "When's my birthday, Avice?"
She squinted at him. "May.. 3rd?"
He chuckled, kissing the tip of her nose. "Okay, but anyone could have known that."
She groaned. "Fine. Another question. Besides, it's not like you know my birthday."
"February 21st, baby," he said, kissing her cheek. "Okay... Favorite color?"
"Blue and orange," she replied cheerfully. "Duh."
He frowned before kissing her forehead. "Fine. You do know who I am."
