"Seeing as we're partners and all."
She squeezed his hand, her head cocked. "I love you."
He chuckled before kissing her cheek. "I love you too."
She grabbed his arm. "You will dance with me eventually, right?'
He frowned. "That's not why we're here," he teased.
"I know, but you might as well enjoy the dancing and the fancy wine, yeah?"
"Enjoy might not be the right word. I don't like to drink."
"Fine, Mr. Boring. You can help me if I get drunk."
"That's better."
"But I won't promise that I'm not going to dance with people."
"Hmph. Fine. I'm not going to try to stop you."
"Fine," she joked. "Don't."
"Fine," he threw back. "I won't."
She kissed the tip of his nose before away from his touch. "Fine."
He frowned, his arms feeling empty. "I'm going to go talk to people."
She cocked her head, smiling at him. "I'll find stuff out as well."
He nodded before kissing her cheek. "Please don't cheat on me," he teased.
She rolled her eyes. "I would rather stab myself 38 times."
He raised his eyebrows. "Jesus."
She stuck out her tongue innocently. "A sacrifice."
