She playfully hit his shoulder. "I will tickle you again."
"Then we'll have to go through this whole process again and be right back where we started."
She glared before laying back, her arms over her eyes. "Hmph."
He looked down at her before pointing back to the door with his thumb. “Should I leave...?”
"Only if you don't love me," she muttered stubbornly.
He cocked his head thoughtfully. “What if I’m just disobedient?”
"Then I won't make you a pie," she said sternly.
He hesitated. “What if I make you a pie?”
She squinted at him.. "Why would you do that?"
"Because then you can't blackmail me."
"Why would I blackmail you?"
"There are many reasons why a criminal commits their crimes."
"But I love you! I just want you to be happy."
"You'd be surprised how often the criminals claim that as their reasoning."
" So mean."
"You can keep calling me mean all you want. It only solidifies my decision to leave forever."
She gasped. "I knew you would do that!"
"Yep," he said sadly, opening the door. "Here I go."
"Fine," she said harshly. "Leave and never come back!"
He blinked in surprise before stepping out of the room. "Oh. Okay. Will do."
