"Hmph," she muttered, sitting up. "I guess you're right."
He beamed before opening one eye. “You can’t lie to me, Rohesia. I know you too well.”
"Whatever," she murmured, crossing her arms. "Just don't die."
“Me? I wouldn’t dare.”
"You just tried!"
“Yeah, but not seriously. I’m sure you wouldn’t ever let me die.”
She squinted with a small nod. "That's right. And you me?"
"Of course, baby. Of course," he said, reaching for her.
She went to him gladly, her eyes bright. "Guess what?"
"Hm?" he asked sleepily, looking over at her.
She propped her head on her hand with a grin. "I love you."
He grinned, leaning over to kiss her cheek. "I love you too!"
She laughed brightly, cocking her head. "Are you tired?"
"Eh... a little. Thinking you're mad at me is hard work."
She chuckled. "Is it?"
"It is. Worrying in general is tiring."
"You should sleep," she said softly, her voice warm. "I'll sleep too."
He glanced over at her with a small smile. "Are you trying to get rid of me?"
She kissed the tip of his nose. "Of course not. You don't have to."
He pursed his lips. "Hm. You've put me in quite the dilemma."
