His laughter was deep and warm and he kissed the top of her head. “God, I love you.”
"Hmph. I love you too. Even though you're bullying me."
“Bullying? I’m only speaking the truth, my love.”
She groaned jokingly. "I suppose you are."
“Of course I am. As we’ve previously established, I cannot lie.”
"Excuse me. I can't lie."
“That’s bull.”
She laughed, taking his hand. "Yeah."
“You steal on a consistent basis.”
"It's basically free stuff. We're not getting into that now."
“It’s stuff that belongs to other people.”
"Oh yeah? What if it's a mean, rich person?"
“It still belongs to them, Robin Hood.”
"Then I guess I'm just a bad person."
“Oh, come on. You’re my favorite. You know that.”
"But I am a bad person."
"A badass person. Not a bad one."
"Only bad people steal."
“That’s not true, baby.”
She placed her hands over her ears stubbornly. "It's too late. I'm a bad person."
